I've been morbidly obsessed with the Edison Chen scandal lately... Looking at the photos makes me wonder if there are lots more photos of other celebs still in 'private' collections? Being celebs and constantly under camera lenses, possibly some people do get excited while being photographed in intimate poses?
In anycase, I wonder if the rumoured Maggie Q video will surface anytime soon (if at all). The released pics have provided enough excitement in any case.
Wiki provides a background of the whole sex scandal. The photo count is rather outdated though (last I checked). The initial photos could be found here. Thereafter, a couple of megaload links can be found via google to get the remaining batches but for those who can't access those links, this forum gives a good update. You'll have to register and then look for the pics which are scattered all over the forum depending on when they were released. Some members provided consolidated download links though. The Blemish gives an update as well (and quite funny comments on the hirsute stars)
Based on a rough count:
Gillian Chung (钟欣桐) 90+
Bobo Chan (陈文媛) 120+
Cecilia Cheung (张柏芝) 120+
Rachel Ngan (颜颖思)10
Mandy Chen Yu-Ju (陈育嬬) 40
Candice Chan Si-Wai (陈思慧) 48
Vincy Yeung (杨永晴) 3
Jolin Tsai look-alike 4
I do feel kind of sorry for the girls though. According to news,
- Gillian Chung attempted suicide twice.
- Cecilia Cheung's husband Nicholas Tse is furious and may ask for a divorce .
- Bobo Chan's marriage to rich fiance Philip Jin has been called off by his family. She had already retired from show biz to prepare for life as a rich men's wife.
- Vincy Yeung is still in the USA (Boston) studying - no news of the impact on her but Edison Chen has reportedly flown to USA to find her.
- Edison Chen has been dumped from a credit card advert and his movie launch dates delayed according to Batgwa.com
Makes you think also, of how in Hollywood a scandal like this will probably elevate your star... afterall look at Paris Hilton or Pam Anderson. In the Asian market though, I wonder if those involved will still have a career after this.
Number of old sex videos re-circulated as a result: 2
1. Yoyo Chen & Vin Choi
2. NYP Tammy
On a separate topic, hands up those who think that Edison Chen is a pedophile for dating such a young girl. Apparently she was only 16 when he started dating her. A number of forums have also been discussing the timelines and how Edison Chen must have been double-timing to pull off all the pics.
In anycase, I shall be tracking to see how this scandal develops (like millions of other chinese I guess).

Ah... after resisting blogging or facebook for the longest time, I've finally decided to create a blog. Why the decision to blog anyway? It's not for fame or notoriety... I've no desire to be famous or have my mug plastered all over my blog... not for communications... I've no intention to spread this blog to family and friends... so really no reason except to give my alter ego some free reign?
Perhaps... in any case I've no idea how you found your way here but whoever you are, welcome to my blog.
Just a short note while I explore the options. Now time for some spring cleaning which I supposed is culturally ingrained in me to do before each chinese new year.
Happy new year and I wish you peace and prosperity in the year of the rat.
In case you are curious, have a look at this site which gives some pretty interesting info about the chinese zodiac and this one for Feb 2008 auspicious dates. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find one for the full year (I suppose the fengshui masters do need to protect their ricebowls after all). For those who enjoy some social gambling during the season, and are as clueless about mahjong scoring rules as I am, have a look here.
